The Old Barn

Our beautiful beamed barn is a flexible venue which can host a variety of events. We have retained the character of a working barn but enhanced its beauty with subtle lighting. Twinkly lights adorn the ancient beams which can be decorated with ivy or hops. The barn leads onto the swimming pool garden. The swimming pool can be lit with floating candles and the log braziers can be lit at dusk to make a delightful focal point for drinking and chat.

For weddings or formal functions the barn can comfortably sit 100 guests at circular tables, more with trestle tables. When hiring we can recommend a variety of suppliers or provide a party planning service.

There is parking for up to 80 cars on site.

Once a date has been secured the barn is exclusively yours and is available the day before to allow preparation and then until lunchtime the next day to allow for clearing away.

The Old Barn can be hired for children’s parties. There is a modern galley kitchen and a disabled toilet. Child sized chairs and tables are available.

The Old Barn can be hired for rehearsals of plays, dance or music.
