Educational Visits

Corhampton Lane Farm, in the Meon Valley, is a family owned and run farm, specialising in growing and cleaning seed. The Hall family bought the Farm in the 1950's and now the third generation of Halls are managing and developing the business with an emphasis on careful farming using state of the art technology, an awareness of environmental needs, restoring and maintaining the old buildings, and letting others enjoy their land through permissive access tracks around fields, education visits, camping and bed and breakfast.

The Farm is a member of the Countryside Stewardship scheme run by DEFRA. We offer free educational visits tailored to each school's specific requirements, run by our on-site teacher. We can help you cover such topics as Harvest, Food and Farming, Plant life, Habitats, Autumn and Spring.

Some of the activities we offer are:

Tractor and trailer ride around the farm
Vegetable Gardening
Cooking in the farmhouse kitchen
Woodland artwork
Un-natural trail
Tour of barns and machinery
Plant dissection
Campfire building
Exploration of seasons

We also welcome Brownies, Rainbows, Cubs, Beavers etc.  Please contact us to discuss your visit and arrange to come and see us.

Any local adult groups are welcome to arrange a visit.
